Bray Wyatt’s WWE booking complication.
Bray–Wyatt From the very start of the run, there was no doubt that the character would grab the hearts of many. WWE Fans. It got to the point that the charismatic superstar began to build a loyal following and it was instrumental in his career and is a true story of creative bravado.
Whether it was his original incarnation or later when he became the Fiend, fans continued to be on board for whatever lay ahead for the enigmatic superstar. However, support was followed by some disappointment along the margins.
Bray has always toed a line when it comes to how he was presented in WWE, even with the creative ingenuity there were a lot of issues with his overall presentation which led to complications maintaining a strong presence on the list.
This has been an ongoing issue when it comes to Bray Wyatt and since his return the pain has only continued as he ushers another incarnation of his game with Uncle Howdy as another character into his dark and twisted world. The problems persisted and it was shown to us that Bray is more difficult to book in WWE than ever imagined.
Elements that make Bray Wyatt complicated in WWE.
The only main element of Bray Wyatt is the reservation that has taken place so far. From his debut against Kane in a Ring of Fire match, it’s become apparent that Bray would be one of those guys who can’t win in a dominant fashion and there will always be controversy.
Bray doesn’t win as convincingly as counterparts like John Cena, Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns which really hurt him in the long run. The way he was booked really made a difference to his overall presentation and he had more defeats than wins as he faced top stars.
This made it hard to believe in Bray Wyatt, as he was expected to lose 80% of the time when it mattered most. This made it difficult for fans to invest in the actual matches when the storyline may have been gripping.
Another element that has complicated Bray is the character itself. Bray is heavy with psychological elements in his game, which contrasts with superstars like Kane or Undertaker where it was clear as day of the supernatural elements of their game that enhance their abilities in the ring.
Bray is more or less psychologically driven in the same way as humanity. Especially when you look at Bray’s many faces and how they differ from each other. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been the same connection with Bray as with Mankind in his time.
This could largely be due to the contrasting direction of Bray’s psychological makeup which has always had him serve as a man who believes he is a monster, rather than a monster in his own right like his supernatural counterparts.
Although there were supernatural elements added to Bray when the Fiend was introduced, later, this contrasted with the psychological advantage he had before and led to some questions about this additional element. The magic didn’t last very long when Goldberg scored a quick and unusual victory, effectively ending the magic of a character who was once considered nearly unstoppable.
This brings us to his recent incarnation since his return. Bray has again evolved into something darker than before. The introduction of Uncle Howdy was an interesting attraction into another dimension of Bray Wyatt’s mind.
In the past, Bray controlled the world and dictated every last bit of his world, creating a methodical psychology that told unique stories for each of his adversaries. Recent development since Uncle Howdy’s introduction has shown a different contrast to his past incarnation encounters.
Some fans have no idea what to do with Uncle Howdy since in the past Bray has displayed a personality split similar to Mick Foley, such as portraying Sister Abigail for just one time or switching between the strange and adorable Bray Wyatt and the Fiend. .
It was easy to see how fans would believe Uncle Howdy was Bray since he’s done such psychological antics in the past. So it wasn’t unusual to think that this was another typical Bray Wyatt jester, but it seems a lot more complex than that.
Uncle Howdy represented absolute chaos and it seems like Bray Wyatt has lost all control of his world with each incarnation of his past characters colliding with each other. Bray doesn’t have the same control he used to as he can play head games in different ways.
Fans have a lot of questions about Uncle Howdy and it has already led some fans to be curious or to tune out. That’s the tricky part with Bray’s slow-booking past not playing in harmony with his character development.
Let’s hope WWE tries to rectify the situation as Bray slowly descends into an abyss of madness from the many worlds he’s created over the years with the Wyatt Family, being the Eater of Worlds, and of course the Firefly Funhouse .
Bray has always gone through changes, with each character being different based on their own schedule with superstars. It seems like another trip to another part of Bray’s mind, fans will have to wait and see where it goes.
He had LA Knight encounters with Uncle Howdy, seemingly from the shadows. It’s the perfect storm with so many moving parts as Bray seems to add elements of his madness and lose control of a world he once ruled, but now the world has taken over him.
It’s a slow burn and a lot to take in with all these changes but Bray even with all the booking issues has remained the most interesting part of the overall program and that’s no exception with the psychology deeper than before with Bray confronting every aspect of his dystopian world.
It’s only a matter of time before fans learn more about Uncle Howdy and his role in the ever-changing world of Bray. Fans will need to tune in to Smackdown to see the slow unraveling of Bray Wyatt’s world and see what comes next with him facing all aspects of his chaotic world.
