Kidnapped children have been rescued by state troops

Two kidnapped children were rescued by state troopers in North Carolina on Monday. The State Highway Patrol was notified of a missing 5-year-old girl kidnapped from South Carolina. Troopers located the suspect’s vehicle and conducted a traffic check. The kidnapper was thought to be traveling through North Carolina on his way to Virginia. The suspect was found on I-85, north of Hillsborough. A second child was found in the car with the girl. That child had been missing for more than seven months. Both children are now in the care of the Orange County Child Protective Services. Two kidnapped children were rescued by state troopers in North Carolina on Monday.

The State Highway Patrol was notified of a missing 5-year-old girl kidnapped from South Carolina.
