Kids can explore engineering with a few new clubs from Mentor Public Library.
First, kids ages 5 to 11 can use their imaginations to build with LEGO blocks, magnetic tiles, magnet sticks and Brain Flakes with the library’s Masters Builders, according to a press release. The club meets every second Wednesday of the month at the Lake Branch of the library, 5642 Andrews Road in Mentor-on-the-Lake.
The first meeting is on January 11 at 4 p.m. Each meeting has a new theme and presents new challenges.
Also, LEGO enthusiasts ages 5 to 12 can rock the blocks every first Saturday of the month at the main library, 8215 Mentor Ave. The first meeting is Jan. 7 at 11 a.m.
