Hi. Yeah, the most recent numbers are in and it’s 210 million packages stolen from porches across the country in the last year alone. That’s $5.4 billion worth of stuff you sent and the holidays as you know, our main season for porch pirates. More gifts, more parcels. Easy targets. But I just found ways to fight the cool gadgets you can get right now to stop those thieves in their tracks. You’ve seen the videos, brazen porch hackers steal your packages in broad daylight, even packages larger than themselves, some even back their cars onto the lawn to retrieve the goods or enlist their children to do so, thieves steal even smaller packages out of your mailbox in seconds. So how do you defend yourself? Check out this ring sensor who bought it for just $30. It’s basically just a *** sensor. It comes with double sided tape here, see like this. You stick it here on your mailbox like this. Boom. And then anyone opens your mailbox, look at this, you open it and boom. I just got the alert buzzer mailbox door movement detected. Then try the *** delivery box which will store your packages safely. We bought this one called the Elephant Trunk for $256. You stick with deliveries here and here’s the cool thing. The way they have it. You know, there’s no way for the thief to get in here. Alright you literally have to use the *** key and I have the keys here to open the bottom to get your packages like this. And so it comes here, afraid that FIFA will pick up the letterbox and leave. It comes with a *** bolt that you can screw directly into the ground. But here’s where we’re going, high tech. This is the Yale Smart Delivery Box. We bought ours for $224. You’re leaving in the morning, expecting a *** package, right? You leave it open and walk away when you get the *** delivery, okay? When you receive a *** delivery, the amazon person, whoever drop it here, you will get an alert on your phone, then you click on it. OK? It was therefore closed unlocked. Now look closed locked like this. Look at this, it’s completely closed and you say, okay, you can get it back. It is the same as the other. You can bolt it into the ground. It also comes with a rack which you can fill with sand and stones to make it extra heavy and again you can track your deliveries and if you have another one coming you can just unlock it again. They drop off the delivery and when it’s delivered you lock it again. All good. One last tip. When a *** package is stolen, it’s up to you to contact the seller and besides, he doesn’t always reimburse you. So we actually found out that there is a *** way for you to get insurance for your delivery. There’s a fucking website called Porch Pals. They will provide three *** year packages for *** $120 annual fee *** flight box. You submit a *** claim, you get that money back immediately.
